From 100 kg of raw fiber harvested in the spring in the Khangai Mountains, we obtain 25 kg of usable yarn after sorting, cleaning, and refining. Every gram you touch has been hand-selected by our partner herders in Mongolia, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters.
This season’s fiber will not be exactly the same next year. The animal, the winter cold, the altitude—all of these factors change. That is what makes each batch irreplaceable. And that is why these last few pieces deserve a mention.
